Have you been trying to make changes to your life?
Changes that you believe are necessary to live the life you want – without success?
Maybe you are trying to lose weight, fix your relationship with your partner and your kids, or find a way to thrive in the face of chronic illness, and yet whatever you try, you don't seem to make any real and lasting progress.
Maybe you have tried life coaching, psychotherapy, or self-growth seminars and find that while you feel more “enlightened,” you are still stuck in the same place you were at the beginning…or at least fairly near it!
So, what does it take to create a fab-o-rama life—or to find more joy in the life you've been given?
If you listen to a lot of life coaches, you'll hear that you just need to follow the right steps, 1-2-3-4-5, and you can whip your pesky little life into shape. Come up with the most efficient To Do list and do spring cleaning on your relationships, and sha-zam! you'll be happy.
And if that doesn't work for you, well, you're probably not following the steps correctly. Or so they say.
If you listen to traditional therapists, they'll tell you that you need to talk it out. Find out what really happened to you when you were five years old, explore it from all angles, and sooner or later, you'll change your patterns and change your life.
Hmmm, ask all those people in their eighth year of therapy how the "sooner" part is going for them.
I work differently.
I'm about finding new ways to work through whatever is standing between you and your best life. I'm not about checklists and accountability, or dwelling on past trauma. My guess is that those approaches haven't worked for you, or you wouldn't be here.
When you're stuck, all the insight and instruction in the world is not going to get you moving. Life coaching has its place – I believe that, or I wouldn't be trained as a life strategies coach. But clients need more than this, and that's what led me to seek out techniques such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, or "tapping") and LEAP (Life Energy Alignment Process).
These modalities really help when you have beliefs and negative thinking that are acting as obstacles to what you want to achieve. And let's face it, most of us have messages in our head that are certainly not helpful! Maybe you hear that you are "unlovable" or "unworthy" or "lazy"…or whatever. As long as you hear messages that contradict what you want to manifest, you're locked in struggle. I use EFT and LEAP to clear these contradictions away. This allows you to move forward with ease and see the possibilities that weren't visible before.
The cool thing about this is that you don't have to be "super motivated" or "committed" before you start.
I don't ask for that. We can begin working together no matter what your starting point is – even if you think your problems are hopeless because you're a loser, or all your own fault, or even impossible to solve. I don't get scared off by how you feel, because I know we can still create good things together.
I also know enough about the techniques I use to know that you don't have to wait months or even weeks before you feel better. When you clear negative beliefs and thoughts, it's a change you can feel right away. So, even before you've achieved a goal – lost that 20 pounds or found that perfect job – you start feeling different inside. You feel centered, aligned, and hopeful, just as you deserve to feel, right now.
I believe we all have greatness and brilliance inside us…every one of us, even you! We are all capable of amazing things. My goal in working with you is to clear your path so that you can achieve whatever it is that you desire…in your own brilliant way.
Are you ready? I work with clients all over the world, by telephone, to help the make the changes they want. Call or email me to arrange a complementary session.
